About The Story

Ringluia, a young hearing-impaired girl from Northeast India, dreams of performing the traditional Cheraw bamboo dance. Struggling to hear the rhythm of the music, she fears her dream is out of reach. With her grandmother's guidance, she learns to feel the beat of the music through her hands. This heart-warming story, illustrated by eight talented young artists, all with hearing disabilities, demonstrates that the deaf can do everything except hear. The story celebrates overcoming disabilities, the power of family support, and inclusion, reminding us that challenges can be conquered through determination and perseverance.
