About The Story

Faza introduces her friends Ilham and Beno to the awe-inspiring Dadak Merak mask—a massive tiger-faced mask crowned with dazzling peacock feathers. The children learn that only the strongest dancers can perform with it, holding the heavy mask with their teeth while dancing to the rhythmic music of the gamelan. Through this festival experience, the children discover how music, dance, and tradition bring people together in joyful celebration.
