About The Story

Chuskit, a bright nine-year-old girl in Ladakh, India, longs to go to school, make friends, and join in play and learning. But due to a physical disability, she is unable to walk—and her school is not accessible. That’s when Abdul, a kind and determined classmate, proposes a plan to his principal. His idea brings the community together to build a ramp and enable Chuskit to finally join her peers at school. This powerful story highlights how empathy and action can break barriers and promote inclusivity.
