HISTORICAL

Al-Qarawiyyin Library, in Fez, Morocco, stands as the world’s oldest still in use. Founded in 1359 by Fatima al-Fihri, a visionary woman, when she inherited the family fortune. Fatima created a center of learning where students could earn certified degrees—she even earned one herself! Today, the library houses over 4,000 rare books, preserving centuries of knowledge and history in a truly pristine setting.
